HKP, the workforce management affiliate of Honkamp Krueger & Co., P.C., is seeking a business development representative to generate leads through calling on prospect accounts and qualifying sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Research and identify prospects
  • Effectively cold call targeted leads and qualify prospects
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the HK services
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize efforts, share results and plan next steps
  • Develop selling strategies
  • Enter and manage data in customer relationship management (CRM) software

The ideal candidate:

We're interested in resourceful individuals with the drive to succeed. The business development representative will demonstrate a high degree of motivation, professionalism and competence to work in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous sales experience with demonstrated success through self-sourcing and cold calling
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
